Delete your Dhaba.ai account

What we delete

• Your account and its sign-in details.
• Your staff logins: names, emails, phone numbers, roles and PINs.
• Your business data: menu, orders, stock, reports, the messages you sent and your settings.
• Your diners’ details stored in your account.

We delete this data, or make it anonymous so it no longer identifies anyone.

What we keep, and for how long

• Everything, for the 30 days after we confirm your request, so you can ask for an export. Then it is deleted as above.
• Invoices, payments, bills and other tax and accounting records: for as long as GST, income-tax and other laws require, generally 8 years.
• If your application was not accepted or you withdrew it: its details, only as long as we need them to complete the refund, handle any dispute and meet legal requirements.

Removing just one staff member

You don’t need to delete the account. The owner or an admin can delete that staff login in the app.

If you are a diner

Your details (name, phone number, orders, loyalty points, feedback) are the restaurant’s data. To see, correct or delete them, ask the restaurant; we help it answer.

Uninstalling the Android app

Uninstalling the app removes its data from your device, but not your Dhaba.ai account. To delete the account, follow the steps above.

Complaints

If you are not happy with how we handled your request or your data, write to our Grievance Officer at [email protected]. We acknowledge a complaint within 48 hours and resolve it within one month.
